Sync Source and Target systems more than 3 times a day

Some organazations rely heavily on the data from their source systems. Therefore it would be better to have the ability to synchronize HelloID more than 3 times each day.

Hiya Tom Isbouts, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details on the frequency and timing of the desired syncs?
- Are there specific source systems that require more frequent syncing?
- What impact would more frequent syncing have on your organization's operations?

- Ideally, every change in a source system would result in a real-time synchronization in HelloID. This way, the platform would be event driven. It is understandable that this may not be possible. Our customer asks for a high frequency sync (eg once an hour). The reason for this request is that last-minute employees (freelancers) often need access to the systems to resolve issues on the work floor in healthcare. A healthcare worker needs an account to log into the underlying systems.
- No, just synchronization in general.
- By having an account available on the network sooner, our customer can provide better care their clients at different locations.

We would like to be able to sync only one newly created person from AFAS to HelloID as an extra option next to the schedules

Extra import options for source systems

I would like to be able to import specific data in a more frequent way. For instance when I have a separate source for rostering systems or flex employees where I need an account to be created asap after adding the person to my source. I need this to be in provisioning due to Business Rules, Lifecycle management (start/end-dates on different departments) and Target systems that are not available in SA. I only require a faster schedule for this specific source system not for all source systems. Or an API to trigger the import (and target actions) once a new person has been added.

This request will be merged with "Adding more scheduling options" because effectively this means that you want the import/process more than three times a day.

It would be extremely consuming to allow these amounts of scheduling per day. That is also why you can see how busy it is on the graph when scheduling because it could potentially compromize the performance for everyone. Most of the time business cases like these should not be solved by simply scheduling the import as much as possible imo. In some cases where time is on the essence, you can use Service Automation next to Provisioning to work together. For instance enroll via a delegated form for instant access and have Provisioning pick up that user later.

I would like at least 5 schedule moments. Our previous system ran every hour so that was 12 times per day. For K12 we can compromise on 5 per day. This helps us get students logged in shortly after they enroll for school.
