Export business rules

Any progress on this feature request? Next to exporting it would be very useful if business rules can be imported too, in draft format. Especially when using an Excel document for customers to depict specific changes needed in entitlements for existing rules.

Has there been any movement on this request? I too am trying to find a solution to audit (and export) each business rule along with its respective criteria and entitlements.

Considering how important business rules are to HelloID's functionality, I'm surprised there is really no way to interact with them other than the GUI.
Lets say, that I've deleted and AD group and want to remove it from HelloID. How can I see, which business rules have that group as one of their entitlements without manually going through each one?
Another scenario. Lets say, that a malicious admin deletes all our business rules. How do we recover from that? I can't think of a way, other than manually documenting every single business rule by hand. That kind of manual process just isn't reliable, and should never be relied upon in in any business critical system.

Sanne van Lienden, I think your question is almost the same as mine: https://feedback.helloid.com/provisioning/p/report-business-rules-with-users-and-entitlemtents

Sanne van Lienden Thanks for the feedback. Could you explain why you need this (what problem do you need to solve with this)? And maybe give us an example in how you will use it if available?
S
Sanne van Lienden
Rick van den Dijssel: Using it in designs and for consulting purposes. Giving customers an overview of the business rules can help with informing them about the design for HelloID.

Sanne van Lienden: Does this mean just an export of the business rule grid names, amount of persons and amount of entitlements is enough for consulting purpose? Or do you need all the information like person names, entitlement names and conditions of the business rules? In that case please could you give me an example how you use this data for consulting.

Sanne van Lienden
Rick van den Dijssel: Grid names, conditions, amount of persons and entitlements. Giving the customer an example of the design so when you need to add functions or entitlements you can show them what you have and decide to use an existing rule or creating a new one.

Rick van den Dijssel: Has there been any movement on this? We are getting requests for auditing purposes and without an easy method for exporting the criteria, this task is next to impossible without a bunch of manual work.
R
Rick van den Dijssel
Scott: Sorry to say but this request isn't plannend or doesn't belong to any items on the milestone currently.

Rick van den Dijssel: Any plans to get this on a roadmap? How do you propose I move forward with audits?
R
Rick van den Dijssel
Scott: currently there are no plans to get this on the roadmap. Please contant your support department with the details of your issue and we can see if we have another option available.
