Send attachment in notification

When sending a notification, I want to include one or more attachments. Customers often want to send welcome mails including instructions on how to operate and a code of conduct.

Any progression on this request? It's been asked very frequently by customers who don't want to publish information on how to activate the accounts on public Internet, but the instructions aren't always easy to embed in the mail..
