Support for multiple Source Systems
complete
Mike Sheldon
Provide the ability to support multiple source systems. It's not uncommon for an organization to have multiple sources for their data.
- Allow adding multiple source systems.
- Import should only insert, update, delete identity from a single source system.
- Each source system has its own import.
- Only managers are searched in the identities from the same source system.

Very interested to see how we aggregate identities to a person, when identities from multiple systems belong together. You should be able to choose if you want an account per natural person or per identity.

Arnout van der Vorst: We do not support aggregation of identities in this feature request this is purely importing from multiple sources which means one identity will be one person in the vault.
Mike Sheldon
Rick van den Dijssel: Should put in separate feedback for aggregation of identities?

Mike Sheldon: If you really need this yes.
Arnout van der Vorst
Rick van den Dijssel: Agreed. I think in the end aggregation will bring more trouble than it solves.

We definitely will add support for multiple Source Systems, at the moment we only support one source system. In the next release the add new source button will be removed from the screen when we already have one system in place, just to make things more clear.

Hello; I would like to voice my support for this functionality. Use of multiple source systems is a key component for the majority of our implementations in the EDU market and a large number of commercial implementations.

Supporting only one source system isn't quite a deal breaker, but it's close. Hopefully this is on the road-map because without multiple sources it essentially eliminates our education customers. We also have several UMRA/IAM Commercial accounts with multiple sources.
