End-of-life end-user dashboard notifications
planned

Over time, we've seen a significant decline in the use of end-user dashboard notifications. Despite this, the feature continues to heavily impact our databases and HelloID's overall performance. As a result, we will deprecate the feature in the HelloID 2024.12 release, which will disable the creation of new end-user dashboard notifications. The feature will be fully removed in the HelloID 2025.03 release.
The end-user notifications are configured in the HelloID admin portal and are shown on the end-user dashboard. See: https://docs.helloid.com/en/settings/notification-settings/add,-edit,-or-remove-a-notification.html
This has no effect on the notification center in the top right corner containing for example the approval notifications.

Thats a real pity, this is just what we needed as new HelloID users, is to be able to notify the users that a form is for example under maintenance.
Could an option be possible to still publish the form, but with a particular colour or something (that shows it is currently not available to use) and disable the use of the form. This would be much better than just taking the form offline without any notification. Sending mail messages everytime to users is very time consuming.

Phil Buckley We can have a look into this kind of feature in the future. Let's use the other feedback item to avoid mixing up deprecation vs new featuere request.
